Now we have had some rain we are organising two more volunteer plug planting sessions next week, Monday 5th July and Wednesday 7th July 6-7pm to plant some of the many plugs we have grown in the tunnels. Please join us if you can.

The rattle and eyebright are both doing well on the site. It is amazing to see how they have controlled large areas of long grass.

The risk assessment remains the same so if you could read it and agree to it when you sign in for the session that would be perfect. Please forward to anyone who may like to join us. There are a good number of Horseflies on the meadow so you may want to wear longer trousers and tops and check for ticks after each session.

Carl has done a great job Dock strimming and digging and thanks to LCC, who have allowed us to compost 8 half Ton bags in the Council Depot. If anyone wants to do some Dock removal in a volunteer session you will be welcome!

As usual try and bring your own digging equipment and a drink and maintain social distance so we all stay safe.

The poly tunnel sessions continue and thanks to those of you who have joined us. We had this beautiful well worn visitor on Friday – an Elephant Hawk moth which we dispatched to some Rosebay willow herb.
