We have welcomed lots of volunteers to the meadow recently to plant in the wild flower plugs which have been grown in the poly tunnel. These relaxing informal sessions are a chance to get out into the fresh air, enjoy the stunning landscape and meet people from the community of all ages – we have planted 2,300 home grown wild flower plug plants and the younger members of the community have also planted seeds by seed bombing the molehills! A big thank you to all the volunteers who have joined us and to our sponsors Areti Charitable Trust, Halton Lune Hydro and Lancaster City Council who’s support has been invaluable.
