Yellow rattle seed is a hemi parasite on grasses and helps to control vigorous grass growth to allow wild flowers to flourish on a meadow. The brush harvester passes over a meadow and collects seed as it passes. The seed is collected in a giant hopper, which is emptied onto a tarpaulin to allow insects to escape and remove unwanted stalks and leaves. Green seed can be added directly to a meadow site or be dried and sorted and added at a later date.
