The River Lune and Ingleborough from the meadow

Guided Meadow Walk, Saturday 1 July

Saturday 1 July is National Meadows Day. Come and join us to find out about species-rich wildflower meadows, and how we are restoring Hermitage Field Community Meadow.

The walk will be informal and relaxed and will also take in the Life for a Life meadow and other pollinator sites at the Crook O’Lune.

Booking is essential. Spaces are limited to 20. To book your place, please email us.

The route involves some walking, so sensible shoes are advised. Bring your own sun protection and drinking water. Woodies snack bar is open for refreshments prior to the event. Toilets are available on the picnic site.

The 81 bus from Lancaster stops near the meadow. Parking in the car park is limited.

Meeting in the car park at 1.50pm, Low Road, Crook O’ Lune LA2 9HU.
