Wildflower planting 31 August

We are running a community meadow planting session on Wednesday 31st August at 3.30pm at Hermitage Field Community Meadow (next to Woodies car park) Low Road, Crook O’ Lune.

We have over 1,000 wildflower plugs ready to plant out – all grown by volunteers and donated by the Forest of Bowland AONB. Please bring your own work gloves and wear sensible footwear. We will provide the trowels. Children are very welcome if accompanied by a responsible adult. This is part of our work to make the meadow more visible to wheelchair and tramper users and also to enhance the site for wildlife. You can drop into the session and do not have to stay the entire time. Any questions please contact us. Thank you.
